in the needs of our professions, and never built for women in our fields. So I'm building our own - and bringing with me an arsenal of colleagues and coaches I trust. Offering to you a half-lifetime of wisdom chasing down rare goals with high risks.
As far as CVs go, I've been privileged to work for the U.S. Intelligence Community, White House, Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Mayo Clinic, CNN, and as an international, federal and state lobbyist. While the ride has been wild, my best feat is simply being a good mom who also does good work.
From two decades working globally, I created Tanjeriine to support women in high-risk jobs, and the young women who aspire to these fields. In my career, my value has always been intellectual, not physical - and so when I started with the Agency as a very young woman, it didn't occur to me to seek out my own fitness, combatives, weaponry training or specialized skills.
Then deep into my career, one tricky moment in Riyadh peeled my eyelids back. I spent the next decade figuring out how one becomes a more weaponized version of herself. Through that journey, I became more - more in every way. But I also learned the support industry for these types of training is difficult to vet, rarely versed
